About us
Thirty years of community, one family at a time.
Founded in 1995 by a handful of Nepali graduate students in Ann Arbor, NEAM has grown into a 1,400-member community spanning the entire state.
Our mission
To preserve and celebrate Nepali culture in Michigan, support newly-arrived families, and build a permanent home where every generation feels rooted.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit run entirely by volunteers. Every dollar of membership and donation goes back into programming, community support, and the future temple & community center.
